The Morehouse College new student orientation program inspired the Young, Gifted & College Bound initiative.“We aim to create an event for Detroit youth that inspires, informs, and energizes students with a commitment to excellence, service, and legacy as they transition to college,” said Shahida Mausi, President of The Right Productions, Inc.

“Our goal is to establish a Detroit tradition of support as we help launch our young people into the next phase of their lives. We firmly believe that together we can make a significant difference in the lives of our future leaders. This event serves as an annual community-wide send-off for metropolitan Detroit freshmen bound for higher education,” added Sulaiman Mausi, V.P. of The Right Productions.

THE PROCESS – BEFORE YOU CLICK TO APPLY, READ CAREFULLY:

Have your acceptance letter handy to show on the video. Double-check that you have left us your name and email address.
Winners will be notified via email.

A celebration reception will take place at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre on May 23.
